Pigtails & Crewcuts Children’s Hair Salon Now Open in Teaneck, New Jersey
Pigtails & Crewcuts: Haircuts for Kids is now open in Teaneck, New Jersey. The Teaneck children’s hair salon is located at 568 Cedar Lane across the street from the CVS Pharmacy. This marks the second salon for owner Shana Adler, who has successfully taken over the Montclair location and turned it into a thriving community hub.
With a background as a special education teacher and a passion for creating welcoming environments for children, Adler is dedicated to making every child and family feel comfortable and valued. The Teaneck community, known for its numerous families with young children, is the perfect setting for Pigtails & Crewcuts’ family-friendly services.
"Haircuts are one of those tasks that need to get done and can be a pain or an enjoyable experience – we want to make it as fun and easy for families and parents as possible," says Adler. "We're excited to bring a new family-friendly adventure to Teaneck and be part of this vibrant community."
With bright colors and whimsical decor, the Teaneck salon creates the perfect kid-friendly atmosphere. In addition to themed vehicle chairs, the salon offers books, movies, video games and a variety of other toys children can enjoy before, during and after their haircuts. The salon also features a retail section filled with children’s hair products, accessories and gifts.
The salon will operate:

- Saturdays: 9 AM to 5 PM
- Sundays: 11 AM to 5 PM.
