February 13, 2020, Atlanta, Georgia — Pigtails & Crewcuts, a children’s hair salon franchise based in Atlanta, Georgia is set to open its ninth Texas location in Plano soon.
Salon owners Cindy and Dale Moore are excited to bring Pigtails & Crewcuts’ unique approach to children’s haircuts to the Plano community. As Dale shares, the couple had been looking for a franchise opportunity to connect with in the community and had settled on salon franchises when they discovered Pigtails & Crewcuts.
“Our daughter takes our grandson to the Pigtails & Crewcuts in their community and I went with them once,” Cindy shares. “I saw how it works and thought it was really interesting. The kids were having a great time.”
“Everyone needs a haircut, and we’ve all had a bad one. We wanted to bring something sustainable and be a valuable part of the community that we knew customers would appreciate,” Dale adds, further noting Pigtails & Crewcuts’ focus on families and children really resonated with them as there are lots of families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
They were also drawn to the brand’s look and feel. Each salon features brightly colored walls, whimsical decor, themed chairs, and plenty of books, movies, and toys to keep children occupied before, during, and after the haircut and make it a great experience. “We felt Pigtails & Crewcuts definitely stood above the rest,” Cindy says of the brand in comparison to other children’s salon concepts.
The Moore’s expect for Pigtails & Crewcuts – Plano to open for business in March. The salon will be located at 4801 West Park Boulevard, Suite 417 in Preston Towne Crossing near Trader Joe’s and Adventure Kids Playcare.
