Pigtails & Crewcuts: Haircuts for Kids is now open in Dripping Springs, Texas. This will be the franchise’s eighth children’s salon in the state, with locations currently open in Bee Cave, Cedar Park, Fort Worth, Highland Village, San Antonio, and Southlake. The Dripping Springs salon is located at 166 Hargraves Drive, Suite E400 in the Belterra Village shopping center near Hat Creek Burgers.
Pigtails & Crewcuts has over 50 children’s hair salons across the country, offering children and families a fun and exciting approach to haircuts. The Dripping Springs salon will offer the same delightful experience found at other Pigtails & Crewcuts locations, including whimsical, vehicle-shaped chairs, bright colors, and a variety of books, movies, toys, and video games to enjoy before, during, and after the haircut. The salon will also feature a retail section filled with children’s hair products, accessories, and gifts.
The Dripping Springs salon is owner Amanda Short’s second location. Short opened her first location in Bee Cave, Texas in late 2017.
“We are very excited to be a part of this growing community,” Short says. “I discovered this shopping center under development as we were getting the Bee Cave location ready and decided it would be the perfect place for a second Pigtails & Crewcuts location. There are lots of great shops nearby and plenty of families moving to the area.”
Short says her mission in bringing Pigtails & Crewcuts to the Austin area has always been to “help parents make haircuts easier and more convenient.”
“Moms in Bee Cave were so excited about Pigtails & Crewcuts and I wanted to offer our experience to another growing community. Both communities have been so supportive of having a dedicated children’s salon in town, and I’m so grateful for that,” Short says.
