The couple owns the newly opened Pigtails & Crewcuts children’s hair salon in Clermont, Florida, opening the doors just a few months before the arrival of their second son this spring.
As parents, the Arnolds know the value of having family-oriented businesses in the community that provides services kids need on a regular basis, such as haircuts. “I felt really comfortable. The entire atmosphere, appearance of the salon, and stylists were really soothing,” Heather shares of her time as a customer at Pigtails & Crewcuts’ Dr. Phillips location. “Our little one took a few haircuts to get comfortable, but the stylists are great! They are so good at distracting kids to help them feel less stressed while providing a great haircut. He cried a little for his first two haircuts, but I knew going in that the ambiance, colors, pictures, and toys would make it easier. The animal crackers were great, too,” she says.
The Arnolds’ positive experience as customers along with their desire to be business owners lead them to bring Pigtails & Crewcuts to Clermont. As they learned more about the franchise from the business side, they quickly realized a children’s salon would be the perfect addition to the community, offering local families a much-needed service.
